To maintain the effectiveness of the protocol, it’s important to avoid anything that could stimulate digestion or introduce non-compliant ingredients—even in small amounts. This includes gum, mints, and other flavored products.

If you're looking for ways to freshen your breath, we recommend gently brushing your teeth or using a light saline rinse (3 tsp iodine-free salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 8 oz warm water) between servings. Staying hydrated also helps keep your mouth feeling clean and fresh throughout the day.
